The Foundation realises its goals through numerous means. Apart from observation and analytical activities, the Foundation cooperates proactively with MPs engaged in foreign affairs, human rights and relations with CIS countries with a view to supporting democratisation processes and liberalisation of the internal policy in the post-Soviet area.
Another important area of the Foundation’s activities are assistance programmes for prisoners and political refugees. We prepare reports and statements which are then distributed among international organisations, analytical centres and the media. In order to influence public opinion in the EU countries, we organise conferences and seminars.
The Foundation devotes special attention to the largest countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States: Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
