The conference ”Kazakhstan: post–election scenarios 2011” organized by The Open Dialogue Foundation will start April 12, 2011 at 12.30 p.m. in the European Parliament in Brussels. Marek Migalski (The European Conservatists and Reformists Group), a European deputy, accepted the patronage over the conference.
During the course of the conference, representatives of independent media and social organizations from Kazakhstan will meet with the European deputies and experts in order to discuss the current political situation in Kazakhstan and in other Central Asian countries in the context of its similarities to destabilized and swept by revolutionary movements Arab countries. Vladimir Kozlov, head of the leading Kazakh opposition party Alga – The Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan, will take part in the conference.
