A few days ago, we delivered 100 mattresses to war victims – mostly women and children. They had been forced to leave their own homes, and found temporary refuge in one of the shelters in Truskavets.
Women and children who flee the war often stay in the vicinity of Lviv. Truskavets is one such shelter, where day by day, more and more so-called internally displaced persons arrive – refugees in their own country. They arrive lost and confused. Although the shelter can never replace their home, we are happy to contribute at least a little towards making them feel cared for. We are with you.
