A group of fearless firefighters from the Fire Department of the Specialised rescue team “Firefighters Together Against Leukaemia”, in cooperation with, among others, oncology hospitals in Poland and abroad, created a “metastasis tunnel” for medicines for oncology patients of Ukrainian children. The transport also included bandages for Ukraine’s freedom fighters, who were trained by firefighters on how to deal with life-threatening arterial haemorrhages. The transport has already arrived in Ternopil.
We are happy that we were able to help provide two sets of bulletproof vests and helmets for the transport drivers and that they will continue to serve on the ground, protecting the lives of Ukrainian heroes.
