On 22 November 2019, Foundation representatives took part in the workshop ‘Addressing Intolerant Discourse, Hate Speech and Hate Crimes in the Visegrád Group’ in Prague. The aim of the meeting was to exchange experiences and views regarding combating hate speech in the countries of the Visegrád Group.
The topics discussed in the meeting included the fight against xenophobia, racism, discrimination and intolerance, and opportunities for cooperation between the countries of the region in this regard.
We would like to thank the meeting organisers: the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the OSCE and the UN Office on the Prevention of Genocide and the Responsibility to Protect (UNOSAPG) for this valuable opportunity to establish new international contacts in the NGO community.
