On 02.06.2014 the Open Dialog Fuondation will hold at UKRINFORM UINA [Ukrainian Independent News Agency] (8/16 B. Khmelnytskoho Str.) the Discussion Workshop “Local Self-Government: Experience of Reforms in EU Countries and Ukrainian Reality”.
Foreign experts will take part in the workshop: Marcin Święcicki, ex-Deputy Minister Of Economy of the Republic of Poland, ex-Minister For Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic of Poland, the ex-Mayor of Warsaw; Jacek Szymanderski, prominent sociologist, counsellor of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Poland; Jakub Drozda, Deputy Head of the Foundation in Support of Local Democracy (Poland); Aleksandra Gajewska, Deputy of the City Council of Warsaw (Poland); Kacper Pietrusiński, Mayor of Rembertów District; Grzegorz Pietruczuk, Deputy Mayor of Bielany District (Warsaw, Poland).
Ukrainian representatives of local self-government authorities, experts, lawyers, public activists, media personnel, businessmen and officials will also take part in the event.

13:30 -15:00 – Current issues surrounding decentralization of power. Foreign experience and the plans for reform.
