The head of the Foundation’s press office, Tomasz Czuwara, commented for TVN24 Biznes i Świat, on the abduction of the Polish priest, Paweł Witek by separatists in Donbas.
“We were going through a similar experience. Our friends were first abducted in the Crimea and subsequently, one of our observers – Serhij Lefter was held in Slovyansk for about 2.5 weeks. That was rather brutal. He was kept in a locked cell. During the first week he was tied up. There were incidents of violations of his personal integrity.”
