The Open Dialogue Foundation is supporting the Poland-to.ua Hackathon Bridge initiative aimed at Polish and Ukrainian youth and students. Winners will receive a 10 000 EUR grant.
The project was launched with a press conference: “Poland-to.ua Hackathon Bridge” held on May 19 at Ukraiński Świat. Polish-Ukrainian teams will compete in three categories: business, culture and society. The goals include application of technology to bring the Polish and Ukrainian nations closer together.
In autumn, the jury will select best projects and these will be implemented within no longer than 3 months with the use of technology and support from experts provided by the Open Dialogue Foundation, Casimir Pulaski Foundation and Svichado Foundation.
The initiative was conceived by former Minister for Digitalisation and Administration, Michał Boni, MEP. The Open Dialogue Foundation and Casimir Pulaski Foundation are the Polish partners of the project, while Ukraine’s partners are Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev and Kiev Polytechnic Institute.
