The help centre for Ukrainians hosted a performance by the ‘Ot Vinta’ band on the afternoon of Saturday, 14th June.
Ukrainian World was bursting at the seams. Since their debut in 1993, Ot Vinta has gained wide recognition from audiences in Poland, Russian, Lithuania and their home country of Ukraine. The band’s leader, Yuriy Zhuravel is one of Maidan’s faces. He has authored, amongst other things, the Nebesna Sotnia drawing, Maidan Self-Defence, National Guard sew-on badge, and the Maidan Library logotype. Zhuravel’s graphics could be viewed at the Ukrainian World exhibition before the concert.
