The Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia has organised an Eastern Partnership event in Tbilisi, entitled “Promoting collaboration on youth affairs”. The conference, being held from 1 to 3 of July, is aimed at fostering cooperation and exchange in the area of youth policy, as well as promoting reforms in this field. Discussions will be accompanied by workshop sessions.
On Tuesday, all participants expressed their solidarity with Ukraine by observing a moment of silence. The importance of support for the neighbour was also emphasised.
Among the conference guests and attendees are: Youth Affairs ministers of Eastern partnership countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine; government agencies and representatives of local governments, NGOs; and international experts.
The Open Dialogue Foundation is represented by Aleksandra Gajewska. Along with the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia, support for the event was provided by the European Commission, SALTO and EU Georgian delegation.
