President of the board of the ODF, Bartosz Kramek, appeared on Polsat News to discuss sanctions towards the Russian Federation, and the Polish regulations on shipment of protective gear.
Kramek noted that Russia had violated all possible agreements and appealed for third-tier sanctions: “It’s now or never.”the ODF’s president also stressed that the EU would lose its credibility if it refused to act now.
Kramek also commented on the seizure of a shipment of protective apparel and possible charges that the district attorney’s office in Zamośćmay present to people involved in transporting bulletproof vests and helmets into Ukraine. He said that while Ukrainian volunteers continue to fight without the necessary equipment, “these bulletproof vests are rotting away in storage when they should be saving lives.”
