Espreso TV correspondent, Bianka Zalewska, was injured on Sunday afternoon after the vehicle she was in, returning from the front, was shot at and consequently overturned. The car was moving in the combat zone, where pro-Russian separatists clashed with Ukrainian forces.
Bianka has undergone surgery and currently there is no immediate threat to her life. She is with the Polish diplomatic service. She is expressing her thanks for concern but wishes for much needed peace and quiet.
Currently she is in hospital in Kharkiv and feeling well. The Open Dialogue Foundation and friends wish her a speedy recovery.
