Tomasz Czuwara, spokesman for the Open Dialog Foundation, in an interview with Superstacja television, said ‘In Angela Merkel’s actions, national interest often prevails which she puts above the interest of the entire European Union, and hence her frequent conversations with Vladimir Putin. This certainly does not serve the interest of Ukraine and legitimises the policy of Putin of playing some countries of the European Union off against other’.
