The Internet portal gazeta.pl presented the case of Ukrainians who attempted to carry bulletproof vests and helmets for volunteers, independent observers, journalists and Ukrainians fighting terrorists in the east of the country.
According to the portal, the investigators are not going to go easy on anyone. Aid in the form of bulletproof vests and protective helmets was also delivered by the Open Dialogue Foundation. The text quotes Tomasz Czuwara, spokesman for the Foundation, who explains that the equipment shipped was defensive in nature – It was not about weapons, but saving lives, so we sent typical defensive equipment. It comprised 42 top-class Kevlar vests, which we purchased legally in Poland. – Czuwara said.
