The Open Dialogue Foundation in collaboration with the KCFE is publishing a series of photographs which constitute the archive of the introduction to the programme, namely “Chess in European schools.”
The pictures depict chess matches which took place on the 18th of January, the 31st of January and on the 1st of February, 2012 in Strasbourg and in Brussels in the European Parliament.
The meetings brought together gifted students and the following MEPs: Ivo Belet, Thijs Berman, Cristian Silviu Buşoi, Derk Jan Eppink, Edvard Kožušník, Jacek Kurski, Libor Rouček and Angelica Vertman. The “Chess in the Schools” project is organised by the Open Dialogue Foundation and the Kasparov Chess Foundation Europe with the support of members of different political groups of the European Parliament.
