TVP 2 channel aired a report on refugees forced to leave their homes after the annexation of the Crimea by Russia. Amongst them, there are many Crimean Tatars who found refuge in places such as Drohobych. More than 60 people were helped by the deputy director of the Drohobych branch of the Caritas and an adviser to the Open Dialogue Foundation, Artur Deska.
The Foundation has been providing refugees with financial support from the very outset, helping them to start a new life. Crowds of people leaving Donbas, which is within the conflict zone, continue to be a problem however.
