On Monday, 6th October, the office of the Open Dialogue Foundation hosted a meeting with the Belarussian journalist Tatiana Novikova.
Novikova, engaged mainly in environmental activities, came to Poland to present in the Polish Seym a report on the threat involved in the construction of a nuclear power plant in Belarus. The journalist argues that the power plant poses a danger not only to her country but to neighbouring countries as well, including Poland. In Poland, she will also meet environmentalists’ groups.
Novikova was met by Natalia Panchenko and Zhanar Kassymbekova of the Open Dialogue Foundation and the Kazakh independent journalist Igor Vinyavskiy.
