Polish MEP Michał Boni has written to the EU Delegation in Moscow on the case of Nadiya Savchenko

On Monday, 3 November 2014, the Polish MEP Michał Boni, a member of the Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee and the  EURONEST Eastern Partnership Parliamentary Assembly, has written to the EU Delegation in Moscow on the case of Nadiya Savchenko, a Ukrainian pilot illegally transferred, detained and prosecuted by the Russian authorities.

Letter was addressed to Mr Vygaudas Ušackas, Ambassador and Head of the Delegation of the EU in Moscow, as well as sent to the Human Rights Focal Point at the EU Delegation. 

Earlier last month, on the 13 October Savchenko was sent for forcible psychiatric examination in the Serbsky State Scientific Center For Social and Forensic Psychiatry in Moscow.
