The President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, replied to an e-mail sent by the Open Dialogue Foundation concerning Ukrainian pilot, Nadiya Savchenko.
Schulz stressed that the European Parliament was “deeply concerned” with the Ukrainian’s case. He also noted that her abduction had been condemned in resolutions of July 17 and September 18, 2014, which urged for her immediate release.
Schulz promised that the European Parliament will continue to raise the subject of Savchenko’s situation in the dialogue with Ukrainian and Russian authorities.
