The portal gazeta.pl reported on the seizure by customs officers from Olsztyn of EUR 50,000 worth of bullet-proof vests which were part of a humanitarian aid shipment for Ukraine.
As stated by the Foundation’s spokesman, Tomasz Czuwara, cited in the article, the matter has not progressed since September. The vests are still stuck in customs storage and the Internal Security Agency (ABW) is investigating the matter upon an order from the prosecutor’s office. In relation to the investigation, the Foundation’s spokesman was also summoned to answer questions at ABW’s premises.
