26th January 2015 will be the day that Poles demonstrate their solidarity with, and support, the Ukrainian Lieutenant and Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, unlawfully imprisoned in Moscow. On this day, as a gesture of solidarity with Nadiya, the Open Dialogue Foundation has ‘virtually planted’a park bearing her name – 500 metres from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Warsaw.
The campaign ‘Plant a park for Nadyia’involves renaming nameless sites using Google Maps. Many users have joined the campaign, and in the Foundation’s view, the most symbolic place to bear her name would be the park neighbouring the Russian Embassy.
