We gladly accept Marcin Rey’s (“Russian V Column in Poland“) apology which ends several years of litigation between us. The libel dispute resulted from a 2017 publication, which was widely used by the Polish state broadcaster TVP and other government mouthpieces as well as the Polish (compromised by the ruling, rule of law-rogue Law and Justice party) security services and diplomatic corps as “proof” of our ties to Russia.
Marcin Rey’s report on the ODF’s activities and connections was met with a firm and exhaustive response, as well as a refutation of every thesis detrimental to the good name of Lyudmyla Kozlovska, Bartosz Kramek and the Foundation.
We thank our former opponent for the thorough implementation of the court settlement and the accompanying gentleman’s agreement. We believe that the fight against Russian influence remains our common goal.
This is yet another court case successful for us. We have filed a series of lawsuits to protect our personal rights in the face of unprecedented, often ridiculous slander against us, published since 2017 when we stood up against the PiS government for the rule of law in Poland.
