On 26th March, the Ukrainian World centre hosted a concert by Svitlana Grigorjeva entitled Music of the Heart.
Grigorjeva is a singer from Lutsk, who currently lives in Warsaw. Her songs are inspired by traditional Ukrainian creations. She sings with guitar accompaniment. Her repertoire on the evening at Ukrainian World comprised both Polish and Ukrainian pieces. Both the lyrics and the music are written by the artist. ‘This is music straight from my heart’ she says about her compositions.
