Since 24 February 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine, we have been doing everything to support our friends and neighbours. Thanks to your support our aid has included, among others, 83 transports with which we have delivered 74,253 pieces of protective and life-saving equipment!
The aid mentioned above included:
– 1 118 helmets;
– 4 ventilators;
– 8 active hearing protectors;
– 5 704 bulletproof vests (+ 587 additional inserts;);
– 14 400 ammo pouches;
– 176 thermal & night-vision monoculars;
– 92 reconnaissance drones;
– 86 portable radios;
– 3 ambulances + equipment for a 4th;
– 10 all-terrain vehicles;
– 1 598 camp-beds;
– 1 823 anti-bedsore mattresses;
– 990 winter sleeping bags;
– 450 trench candles;
– 386 fire extinguishers;
– 24 power generators;
– 1 amphibious combat and rescue vehicle
and thousands of other tactical and medical articles:
– 15 340 medical suits;
– 31 662 disinfectants;
– 59 040 medical masks;
– 1 244 servings of specialised milk for premature babies;
– 2 680 packs of nappies.
We also provided Ukrainian citizens with:
– 26 732 pieces of school supplies;
– 15 199 packs of anti-lice drugs;
– 25 276 clothing items for civilians;
– 37 782 feminine hygiene products;
– 1 180 food packages;
– 511 headlamps with extra batteries;
We’ve helped 13 562 refugees thanks to the work of our team and 100+ volunteers:
– 3 751 of them we’ve relocated to the West and ca. 9 258 found a new home in Poland accompanied by 325 dogs, cats and other pets;
– 5 243 refugees received support via our helpline;
– 440 persons were receiving meals from us for 2 months;
– 2 684 refugees received temporary housing via our partnership with Airbnb.org;
– 1 532 guests from Ukraine who benefitted from our cultural assistance;
– 98 persons received psychological help
– 154 people we helped find jobs;
– 6 babies born under our care;
– 20 500 hot soups, delivered to the border and to soldiers on the frontlines;
– 234 980 kilometres were covered by our volunteer drivers during transports in Warsaw and across Poland, bringing refugees to their new homes.
We have opened 3 Homes for Independent Moms, which house 50 mothers and 35 children, under the expert care of two qualified psychologists.
All of this thanks to PLN 35,3 million, which you donated to our fundraisers, via direct donations and to our collection boxes in theatres and cinemas which joined our campaign! THANK YOU!
