Open Dialogue Foundation’s expert, Agnieszka Piasecka participated in the discussion on opportunities and challenges for the Ukrainian justice system took place in Kyiv. The event, organised under the theme of “Renewal of justice system by changing the Constitution”, was also attended by the Ukrainian parliament deputies and academics, practitioners and theoreticians of law.
During the discussion, topics of the reform of Ukrainian Constitution, along with the experiences of other European countries, were vivdely discussed by the participants. As a result of the debate, recommendations have been prepared for the Ukrainian authorities to carry out the vetting procedure of judiciary representatives.
