Representatives of the Polish international organisation, the Open Dialogue Foundation, have arrived in Kherson with a humanitarian convoy.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional State Administration.
“Representatives of the Polish international organisation the Open Dialogue Foundation arrived in Kherson with a humanitarian convoy. They delivered motor pumps, life jackets, power generators, portable batteries, drinking water, water purification tablets, medicines, waterproof suits, a rescue raft and more to the city,” the statement said.
As noted, during the meeting with the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the participants in the humanitarian mission also discussed urgent needs regarding the restoration of the region after the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station and approved the format of humanitarian cooperation between Warsaw and Kherson.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of 6 June, the Russian army blew up the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station.
In Kherson region, as of the morning of 19 June, five settlements on the right bank remain flooded, with a total of 22 settlements affected.
