On March 11th the Central Electoral Commission asked the State Office of Public Prosecutor to check up on the information about these infringements. This information was in the letter to the head of the Astana branch of the Nationwide Social Democratic Party Serikbaj Alibaev.
In particular, it is a question of infringements at the formation of local election committees in Astana and statute-banned interference of Akimats in the activity of the last.
According to Alibaev’s data, the heads of the created election committees were “selected” or “appointed” by unknown persons oppose the legislation. There were noted cases when the first meeting with members of the election committees was not held.
Some representatives from the Astana branch of the Nationwide Social Democratic Party included in structure of the selective local commissions from №201 to №209 and №213 was not invited to the first meeting of the election committees.
Among the infringements there was also noted the untimely notification of committee-men or their uninforming at all.
