The Open Dialogue Foundation is preparing to launch a new, long-term initiative for Moldova: Open Moldova – Build-up & Reimagining Forum.

Open Moldova will be a broad coalition bringing together businesses, NGOs, activists and public figures from Poland, Moldova and beyond. Its ambition is simple but bold: to help make Moldova a place where young people can see their future, build careers and thrive without feeling forced to leave the country.
At the heart of Open Moldova lies a new approach to corporate social responsibility, engaging people from the commercial sector whose lives and work connect Poland and Moldova. Together, they will co-create practical solutions for Moldovan society – starting with the younger generation – and channel ideas, experience and resources into Moldova’s long-term development.
The initiative will be formally managed in Poland, Moldova and internationally by the Open Dialogue Foundation, one of the leading NGOs supporting Ukraine’s struggle for freedom and democracy. ODF is already well known in Moldova for its past support to the then pro-European opposition, now the governing camp led by President Maia Sandu. Building on this track record, we are now stepping up to help re-imagine Moldova’s next decade.
Open Moldova is the life project of its founder, Anton Kozak – a Polish-Moldovan entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in major global logistics companies and in building Polish-Moldovan relations. Together with ODF and a growing network of partners, he is setting up a platform designed to strengthen ties between the two countries and bring Western values, culture and standards to Moldova’s fast-developing market.
The Forum will operate as a living, evolving platform: long-term in horizon, flexible in tools, and rooted in real needs on the ground. Its work will be guided by a Programme Council and an Honorary Council currently in formation, and implemented through a mix of programmes and partnerships in areas such as education, skills, professional development, international cooperation and community empowerment – all focused on giving Moldovans more reasons to stay, succeed and lead change at home.
For now, this is just a teaser. In the coming months we will reveal more about the vision, partners and first flagship activities of Open Moldova. What we can already say is that this will be one of the most ambitious civic-business efforts yet to back Moldova’s European path and unlock the potential of its people.
Stay tuned – Open Moldova is coming soon.
