On 23 January 2026, 130 power generators departed from Wilkowice near Leszno for Kyiv. At the same time, another transport of 100 generators set off from near Bytom. This marked the transition of the “Warmth from Poland for Kyiv” campaign into its implementation phase.
We decided to place our trust in a Polish manufacturer, FOGO, with whom we were able to negotiate very favorable purchasing terms. A total of 130 units will supply the city’s critical infrastructure — hospitals, schools, and residential buildings. The largest of these generators have a capacity of up to 600 kW. Another 100 units, whose transport is being handled by InPost thanks to Rafał Brzoska, will be delivered to Polish volunteers providing humanitarian aid in the regions of Ukraine most affected by the war.
We are already working on another transport, which will be carried out by Raben Group. DB Schenker has also joined the initiative as a logistics partner.
In the second phase, we will purchase several dozen mobile, specialized substations to support Ukraine’s energy system, in line with recommendations from the Ukrainian side. One such substation may cost approximately EUR 50,000–80,000 per unit. In addition, we are purchasing thermal blankets, gas stoves, and power stations.
Meanwhile, the total amount raised in the “Warmth from Poland for Kyiv” fundraiser has exceeded PLN 6,500,000 out of the PLN 10,000,000 target. Including funds transferred directly to bank accounts, we have already surpassed PLN 9 million. Together with the originator of the campaign, Zbigniew Jankowski from The Diplomatic Platform, as well as its co-organisers – the Stand With Ukraine Foundation, the Action Democracy Foundation, the Sestry.eu platform, the Entrepreneurs Help initiative, the Igor Tracz Foundation, United Nations Global Compact Network Poland, and the Polish Red Cross – we thank everyone for every contribution and encourage further support:
