The level of engagement shown by Polish society in the Warmth for Kyiv fundraiser has exceeded even the boldest expectations. Including donations transferred directly to bank accounts, more than PLN 3 million has already been raised. The largest donors include Dominika Kulczyk together with Polenergia, as well as the Polish Business Roundtable Foundation (and its individual members). We are also counting strongly on the support of other companies and corporations.
New partners have joined the initiative, including the Entrepreneurship Club, the United Nations Global Compact Network Poland (UNGC), and the Polish Red Cross (PCK).
We have already secured funding for hundreds of generators and are planning to purchase them and deliver them to Kyiv in the coming days. UNGC and the Polish Red Cross will support us in organizing logistics efficiently and covering related costs.
The current fundraising target is PLN 5 million. We are receiving countless requests for support from other Ukrainian cities and from soldiers on the front lines. A separate and pressing issue concerns animals freezing due to the lack of heat. More funds mean more opportunities to help. Every PLN 4,000 raised makes it possible to purchase one additional generator, which will be needed not only during the winter.
Let us warm Kyiv and warm Poland with kindness and solidarity — together, we are unstoppable!
