We are delighted to announce that, under the “Senate – Polish Diaspora 2025” grant competition, the Open Dialogue Foundation has been awarded PLN 136,000 to implement the project “Open Dialogue Academy – Digital Communication Course for the Polish Diaspora”, funded as part of the 2025 programme of the Chancellery of the Senate of the Republic of Poland supporting the Polish diaspora and Poles living abroad.
The project is aimed at leaders of Polish diaspora organisations and media worldwide. Its goal is to develop participants’ digital communication skills and their ability to use social media effectively in order to strengthen the visibility, organisational capacity, and civic engagement of Polish diaspora communities.
Participants will gain practical skills in designing and running effective social media campaigns, managing their organisations’ public image, and reaching wider audiences. The training programme will cover, among other topics, audience engagement strategies, social media algorithms, and techniques for creating viral content.
By completing the course, participants will strengthen the public presence of their organisations, improve their organisational capacity, and become better equipped to engage in the social and civic life of their countries of residence. The programme will also foster a network of contacts among participants, encouraging long-term cooperation and the exchange of good practices.
