Wednesday 29 June, the Summer University in Kőszeg (Hungary) “Europe at the Crossroads” -this year’s main topic, stood under the sign of Ukraine and an advanced approach to a new Central Europe.
Christine Brandauer from Open Dialogue Foundation in Poland presented an in-depth presentation about civil society in NGOs in Ukraine after the Euromaidan 2014, the role of foreign donors in reforming Ukraine and current challenges and opportunities.
Questions regarding the future of Ukraine, the role of civil society, national organisations and international NGOs were discussed in a panel discussion together with Ivan Baba, Deputy-Director of iASK, Smaranda Enache, Founder and Co-Chair Liga Pro Europe, Kalman Petőcz, Academia Istropolitana Nova and Tadeusz Iwanski from the Centre of Eastern Studies in Warsaw.
