On the 6th of July, 2012, on the occasion of the 72th birthday of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the theatre group from Lublin prepared an unusual gift for him: a street show performed in Warsaw, in the strict centre of the city. In the show, Nazarbayev was the principal character.
The performance was aimed at drawing attention to the oppression in Kazakhstan, exerted by the government against the opposition, independent media and the politically incorrect artists, and it ended with bringing a symbolic birthday cake to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Warsaw.
