Between 23 and 24 February, 2017, a representative of the Open Dialogue Foundation was present at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Winter Meeting 2017 in Vienna. The aim of the visit was to discuss the current human rights and political situation in the post-Soviet region, and particularly Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine. Previously, the Foundation raised the same issues within institutions of the European Union and Council of Europe.
The representative held a series of bilateral meetings with Members of the OSCE PA, including inter alia the Chair and the Vice-Chair of the Third General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions Mr Ignacio Sanchez Amor from Spain and Ms Ivana Dobesova from the Czech Republic.
