By means of the funds obtained through grants, we support social initiatives aimed at enhancing human rights observance, as well as cultural and educational activities.
So far, we have managed to organise a couple of editions of the International Theatre Festival “Mould off the Eyes” (in cooperation with the authorities of the City of Lublin and the International Visegrad Fund), supported the publication of the book entitled “The Lost World of Hania Pomeranc” by Mariusz Bieniek (a project realised thanks to the support from the International School for Holocaust Studies and Yad Vashem Institute) we have also launched and coordinated the project “Chess in schools” (in collaboration with the Kasparov Chess Foundation Europe).

What we are working on
Democracy Fitness – rule of law education with support from the US Government
Our new project, “Democracy fitness: transforming citizens into active stakeholders via exercising democracy”, financed by the State Department through the US Embassy in Warsaw, is aimed at secondary school students in Poland. The aim of the project is to strengthen the understanding of democratic values and processes as well as foster civic participation. Emphasis will be placed on educational activities in the area of the rule of law, including the separation of powers and independence of the judiciary. It is planned to start in September 2020.
Report on the results of the training trip to Kyiv
On May 05, 2016 European Exchange and ODF launched the project entitled ‘Support for young people as astimulusfor the strengthening of democracy in Ukraine’. The project is aimed at motivating the Ukrainian youth to participate directly in political and civic processes in Ukraine.
