Conference: Ukraine at the crossroad – post-electoral analysis
On May 28, the Open Dialogue Foundation organised a conference in Rome, Italy, entitled: “Ukraine at the crossroad: post-electoral analysis” [Ucraina al bivio: analisi post-elettorale]. The conference was generously hosted by the Consiglio Italiano del Movimento Europeo.

The criminal proceedings against the wife of fugitive Kazakh opposition leader, Mukhtar Ablyazov, bear features of a political order. Ablyazov’s six-year-old daughter, Alua Ablyazova, may also be the victim of political conflict.

On 29 May Alma was captured by Italians, on 30 May criminal proceedings were initiated against her, and on 31 May she and her child were trafficked from Italy to Kazakhstan
Although the MFA stated on 1 June that they knew nothing about the kidnapping of Alma and her child, I have found out that during the flight they were accompanied by 2 employees of the embassy of Kazakhstan in Italy
