Street events

Happenings, demonstrations and concerts organised by the Foundation allow us to reach the widest possible audiences and arouse their interest regarding the issue of human rights violations around the world.

By means of campaigns, such as the demonstrations against the extraditon of Kazakh dissentients in front of the Ministries of Justice in Paris and Madrid, we have helped to focus society on the problems of political refugees. Every year, we also organise a birthday party for Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of Kazakhstan, in a bid to demonstrate the non-democratic nature of his rule. We try to react immediately to human rights violations and involve others in the protest movement.
