Alyssa Famero is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Virginia majoring in Economics and minoring in Real Estate. She has developed analytical and financial skills through her experience in affordable housing finance, where she has conducted cash flow analysis, and development budgeting, and analyzing industry trends in her role as a global macroeconomic analyst with Smart Women Securities. These experiences have shaped her interest in how financial systems and policy frameworks can either enable or restrict opportunity for underserved communities.

As the Treasurer of the Organization of Young Filipino Americans at UVA, she manages budgeting, funding allocation, and grant writing. This experience has given her practical experience in supporting community-based initiatives and resource-constrained organizations.
