Gabriela Selmonosky

Gabriela is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in international studies from the School of International Service at American University in Washington, D.C. She is particularly interested in conflict resolution, reconciliation, global inequality, and the power of special interest groups.

Gabriela has experience in advocacy and research for the private sector. She has advocated for anti-hunger and food waste prevention policies in Washington, D.C. and has worked for The Sunwater Institute, a think tank focused on U.S. Congressional reform. She is experienced in providing research assistance, database management, and data entry.

In Brussels, Gabriela is studying the institutions of the EU, the EU’s policy-making process, NATO’s security policies, and contemporary issues within European politics. In her personal life, she enjoys cooking, running, and volunteering as an English tutor. A bilingual Spanish speaker, she is working to expand her language capabilities by learning French.
