Łukasz Puławski

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics who has an excellent understanding of the world of numbers. A banker and financier, he has been a freelancer in the financial market for several years. In 2015 he started his life adventure, living alternately in Asia and Australia for several years. His further travel plans were thwarted by a pandemic and then the outbreak of a full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, when he decided to get involved in helping refugees.

In early March, he began helping Ukrainians arriving at Warsaw’s main train station, and a month later joined the team of Foundation’s volunteers, taking care for refugees in their temporary accommodation. Today, as a permanent member of ODF, he is in charge of accommodation and coordinates the work of cultural assistants.

In his private life, he is a keen traveller who has visited 5 of the 7 continents and has also climbed the 5,000m peak in the Himalayas (Kalapathar 5600m).
