A graduate in Applied Linguistics with a specialisation in translation from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. She has been working as a translator for 5 years and as a coordinator of translation projects for 4 years.

Since the start of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, she has been involved in volunteer work on the border on behalf of the Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) and at the reception centre at the train station in Krakow, where she lives. She joined the ODF team in April 2022 to support the activities of the refugee hotline.

Marta is also a member of Amnesty International and supports human rights activities, focusing on civilians whose security is threatened by war and political repression. In her private life, she enjoys cinema, food, clinical psychology and the humanities.
