Melania is a film director and assistant director from Warsaw. She graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film and Television, where she made several films that address social issues and the need for change. Many of her projects have been showcased at international film festivals. In her work, she is guided by the principle that storytelling should be grounded in truth and serve as a catalyst for action. Melania now combines filmmaking with activism, has begun studying human rights at University College London (UCL), and also writes a column for sestry.eu.

She joined the ODF team as a volunteer in July 2025.
