Owen is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the School of Public Affairs at the American University in Washington, D.C. He is in his second year at university and plans to continue his studies.

Owen is passionate about political theory, advocacy, and the maintenance of democratic institutions. In particular, his interest in the strengthening of democracy in the post-Soviet countries is what led him to the ODF. He hopes one day to work for the State Department of the United States.
