Stephanie Siemek is a Polish-American student in international relations at the American University in Washington D.C. Professionally, Stephanie is deeply interested in global and comparative governance, the United States’ foreign policy, and democratic backsliding in Eastern Europe.

Her experiences include Ask a Diplomat as Chief of Outreach, where she organized and moderated events and public debates with multiple embassies in Washington, D.C and the America-Eurasia Center as Research Intern, where she drafted research articles on European affairs, including humanitarian aid to Ukraine. She is fluent in English and Polish, and speaks some Spanish.

Personally, Stephanie is a fan of hockey (Go Chicago Blackhawks!) and rock concerts.
