He was a student at the railway technical school in Vinnytsia, but the war forced him to leave school and his country. On 3 March 2022, he left for Poland, with his parents remaining in Ukraine.

He joined the Foundation a month later, initially as a volunteer in a warehouse where he assembled bulletproof vests. He now works at the ODF relocation point at the Warszawa Wschodnia railway station, where he helps refugees in their first moments after arriving in Poland.
