On Wednesday, 13 September 2017, Gazeta Wyborcza published an interview, given by President of the Open Dialogue Foundation Lyudmyla Kozlovska and President of the Foundation Board Bartosz Kramek to Igor T. Miecik. The text, entitled ‘Open Dialog is defending itself’, is presented below.

I first came across the Open Dialogue Foundation in 2011 during OSCE Summit in Warsaw, when, together with MPs of Civic Platform and Law and Justice, the ODF stood up in defence of persecuted pro-democracy activists and miners of Zhanaozen (i.e. crude oil region in Kazakhstan)

In connection with numerous mistakes and inaccuracies in the articles, we would like to present our position on them in the statement below. The remarks refer to the printed version of the articles (in the online version of GW, both articles were united into one and slightly changed/edited).

In view of the scale of its operations and the significant and growing number of incidents of so-called hate speech, the ODF is not able to comment on an ongoing basis on all allegations directed at it, in particular, criticism which is loosely based on fact, as expressed by anonymous authors.

Gazeta Wyborcza has published an article about the mission in support of refugees from Crimea, organised by the ODF.

Frost and wind did not discourage Warsaw residents, as well as residents of other cities in Poland, from participating in a demonstration of support for the Ukrainians, who have been protesting on the EuroMaidan since November, 2013.
