Since the outbreak of war, we have received hundreds of requests for help every day. We were approached by soldiers from Lviv with an urgent appeal to help buy a vehicle for a reconnaissance unit.  Good mobility is vital in reconnaissance.  Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to purchase a car that is now being used by a reconnaissance unit of the Ukrainian Army.

The 21st day of Russia’s attack on Ukraine has passed. Russian rockets continue to fall on the cities of our friends and neighbours, and babies are being born in underground and other bunkers – without nappies, water or heating. As the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)  informed on Sunday, nearly 2.7 million people have already fled the terror of war. Poland has received 1.8 million Ukrainian refugees.

There are hostilities in Bucha, Irpin, Gostomel and nearby villages near Kyiv. They are partly taken over by the occupying forces and there is no access to them. There are residents in these settlements whose lives are under threat.

All residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions are citizens of Ukraine according to Ukrainian legislation (even if you were forced to take an illegal Russian passport)!

We are fundraising for a car needed by the reconnaissance unit of the
Ukrainian Army. The soldiers serving there are from Lviv and they have
asked us to help them. Good mobility means life or death in the
reconnaissance unit. We would greatly appreciate your support to help us
