The Open Dialogue Foundation has provided financial support for Lidia Sydoruk, a 5-year-old from Ukraine, who suffers from spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. The medical costs were far beyond her family’s financial capabilities, which is why they turned to the ODF for help.

Yuri Borodin was born on December 8, 1993 in Bakchysarai in Crimea. He is a trained technician-mechanic and driver. His passions include sea and mountain rescue. He, along with his mother and brother, moved to Kiev several months prior to the events of Maidan.

Psychological support to wounded and injured Maidan activists who are in Polish hospitals is provided by Natalia Basko. Natalia is a psychologist by profession and a Ukrainian national who has been living in Poland for years.

Yuriy was one of the leaders on the Maidan. During the February protests, he was repeatedly shot by a sniper and suffered a very serious wound to his hand which doctors initially planned to amputate.
