Between 23 and 24 February, 2017, a representative of the Open Dialogue Foundation was present at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Winter Meeting 2017 in Vienna. The aim of the visit was to discuss the current human rights and political situation in the post-Soviet region.

Ingancio Sanchez Amor, addressed a letter to the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the National Assembly of the French Republic, E. Guigou, requesting that it be delivered to all Committee members. In his letter, he appealed to the French government not to extradite the Mukhtar Ablyazov.
