During the OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting, ODF will be in Warsaw with a delegation of human rights defenders and activists. The first event will take place on Wednesday 18 at 8:15 in Meeting Room 1.

In the period between 4 July, 2016 and 8 July, 2016, the Open Dialogue Foundation and the ‘European Exchange’ organised the second phase of the study visit of Ukrainian students from Kharkov, Odessa and Dnieper to Brussels and Berlin.

On 1st May 2016, European Exchange and the Open Dialogue Foundation launched the project ‘Support for young people as a stimulus for the strengthening of democracy in Ukraine’.

The Ukrainian authorities did not manage to take advantage of a window of opportunity which appeared after the overthrow of the Yanukovich regime. To date, no concerted efforts have been undertaken to implement deep systemic reforms by the President, the parliament and the government.

The Presidential Administration is promoting a bill on judicial system reform, which would extend the authority of President significantly. MPs have not had time to study the bill – it is scheduled for consideration for tomorrow.
